About us
A Group for Vibrant Women of a Certain(ly Magnificent!) Age To Connect in Our Community
Do you reject the notion of the “invisible middle-aged woman”? Yeah, me too. I believe passionately that women in their fifties and beyond have energy, creativity, style, and a timeless elegance that we've cultivated with our years of interesting and diverse life experiences, and that the best years of our lives are still ahead of us.
If that's the way you feel, too, and you're in your Magnificent Years...your Radiant Chapter...your Season of Self (that one's great, huh?), then join us!
Staunton Magnificent Women is a welcoming community of women who want to make friends, try new things, support one another, and stay curious about life.
We are a large, inclusive group where it’s easy to meet people, and also a place where smaller interest-based groups naturally form. You might come for a happy hour and discover a walking buddy, a book club, a vegan dinner circle, or a few women who share a passion you didn’t even know you wanted to explore.
Our guiding intentions are simple:
• Help each other
Sometimes that looks like a modern-day barn raising, showing up for one another when something feels too big to tackle alone.
• Help the community
We volunteer together and look for ways to make a meaningful local impact.
• Have fun
We host a wide variety of social events, including our monthly Third Thursday Magnificent Women Happy Hour, held at rotating locations and always open to new faces.
This group is designed to be friendly, low-pressure, and welcoming. Many events include women attending for the first time, so you're always welcome.
At its core, Staunton Magnificent Women is a supportive learning community of women consciously shaping the second half of their lives, with reflection, laughter, growth, and plenty of fun along the way.
I can't wait to meet you!
