What we’re about
Calling all women+ who love art, culture and community! Women of Culture LA is a community for professional women who want to live more art-full, socially connected and culture-filled lives. It is a branch of the original NYC-based community (with over 4K members) designed to connect, empower and inspire women through meaningful engagement with the arts.
Although we started in LA in 2019 and have already hosted four LA-based events to date, we took a break during the pandemic. But we're now back and excited to help you experience the best of LA's rich art & culture scene, all while meeting fellow arts-minded Angelinos.
You can learn more about the original NYC-based group here and see some of the 300+ events we've hosted in NYC & beyond.

See all- An Afternoon of Identity, Color & Culture: Jeffrey Gibson at the BroadThe Broad, Los Angeles, CA
Join us on Sunday, July 13th, as we explore one of the most ground-breaking exhibitions of the year: Jeffrey Gibson: the space in which to place me.
This vibrant, powerful show—fresh from the 60th Venice Biennale—is making its only West Coast stop at The Broad, and we’re offering exclusive access through a private guided tour.

Jeffrey Gibson, a trailblazing Indigenous artist, made history as the first Native American to represent the U.S. with a solo pavilion at the Biennale. His work fuses bold color, intricate beadwork, prismatic murals, and rich storytelling that centers Indigenous and LGBTQ+ voices, resilience, and the celebration of identity.
This is your chance to:
- Witness a globally acclaimed exhibition that challenges, inspires, and uplifts.
- Experience art that speaks to themes of belonging, transformation, and joy.
- Connect with a community that values creativity, diversity, and meaningful dialogue.
After the tour, connect with fellow art-full Angelenos over a delicious lunch at Vespaio and make new friends and connections with whom to discuss the exhibit and perhaps return to the museum to explore further.
