Calling all women+ who love art, culture and community! Women of Culture LA is a community for professional women who want to live more art-full, socially connected and culture-filled lives. It is a branch of the original NYC-based community (with over 4K members) designed to connect, empower and inspire women through meaningful engagement with the arts.
Although we started in LA in 2019 and have already hosted four LA-based events to date, we took a break during the pandemic. But we're now back and excited to help you experience the best of LA's rich art & culture scene, all while meeting fellow arts-minded Angelinos.

Rebel with a Cause: The Guerrilla Girls Experience at the Getty
The Getty Center, 1200 Getty Center Dr., Los Angeles, NY, USJoin Women of Culture for a thought-provoking and art-filled afternoon at the Getty Center, as we dive into the power of feminist art and activism.

The afternoon features a private, guided tour of How to Be a Guerrilla Girl, led by Zanna Gilbert, Senior Research Specialist at the Getty Research Institute.
This eye-opening exhibition explores the legacy of the Guerrilla Girls, the iconic feminist art collective known for challenging gender and racial inequality in the art world since the 1980s. Through powerful visuals, bold humor, and unapologetic truth-telling, the Guerrilla Girls continue to remind us that art can be both beautiful and revolutionary.
After the tour, we'll share our reflections over a leisurely brunch at the Getty Restaurant, surrounded by sweeping city views and inspiring conversation. Your ticket includes entry to the entire museum and gardens, so it's a chance to fuel up before continuing your art-full explorations.

5th Annual Miami Art Week(end) of Culture

### We’ve had the time of our lives at Miami art week for the past three years, and this year’s trip includes some of the ‘best hits’ from our previous trips — but is sure to be even better!
Centered around North America’s biggest contemporary art fair, Art Basel Miami, the entire city of Miami transforms into a canvas for ephemeral installations and art happenings, and museums and private collections display their most impressive exhibits for 1 week/year only.
And while this annual celebration of the arts can feel daunting for the uninitiated, each year we have curate a three-night weekend of art-full bliss with the perfect mix of art fairs, museums and free time to explore the city and its wealth of culture — plus the opportunity to share your experiences and impressions with new friends and old over delicious group brunches and dinners.
This year’s itinerary includes tickets to Art Basel Miami, SCOPE and the Untitled fair, delicious group dinners at some of Miami’s best restaurants, and of course, time to enjoy the beach and hotel pool!

A Day at Art Basel Miami: A Curated Experience

First staged in 2002, Art Basel Miami is the North American edition of the legendary Swiss fair, spotlighting modern and contemporary art from nearly 300 leading galleries around the world. It’s an unmissable destination for artists, curators, and collectors alike.
With so much to see, the fair can feel overwhelming — but Women of Culture Founder, Alexandra Harper, will guide you through a curated selection of highlights, giving you the lay of the land so you can explore further at your own pace, while also connecting with fellow art-full women along the way.
We’ll begin the day at The Lincoln Eatery for a casual meet-up over Cuban coffee or a light bite (food and beverages not included in the ticket price), then head together to the Miami Beach Convention Center for our timed group entry and guided tour.
