In honor of Women’s History Month, Women of Culture invites you to an intimate salon exploring the role of art and creativity during moments of transition, reinvention, and uncertainty.

Advance Purchase Required here

Throughout history, artists have helped societies process upheaval, imagine new futures, and give shape to experiences that can otherwise feel impossible to articulate. At times of personal or collective change, art becomes more than expression—it becomes a lens through which we understand the world and our place within it.

For this special evening, Women of Culture will bring together a panel of visionary women shaping the future of arts and culture for a thoughtful and interactive conversation on how creativity can guide us through periods of transformation.

Together, we will explore questions such as:

  • What does reinvention look like for women navigating leadership and change?
  • How do creative practices cultivate resilience?
  • What role can the arts play in helping us envision and build new futures?

Designed as an intimate gathering, this salon invites attendees not only to listen but to engage. Through conversation, reflection, and shared perspective, guests will gain insight into how art both fuels transformation and offers solace during times of uncertainty—on both a personal and societal level.

Join us for an evening of community, thoughtful dialogue, and creative inspiration as we celebrate the women whose ideas, work, and vision continue to shape culture and expand what is possible.
Event is co-ed and open to all with an interest in art, community & culture.

More about the panelists:

GRIMANESA AMORÓS is a Peruvian-born American multimedia creative whose work explores community connections intersecting history, technology, and architecture. Her keen understanding of structure enables her to create monumental sculptures incorporating lighting and custom-made electronic components to create immersive environments and connect the viewer to their surroundings.

Technology compliments the concepts of her work without defining it—a medium of expression.

She derives inspiration from cultural legacies, with a central theme revolving around the concept of time. Amorós’s artwork challenge individual understanding of time, capturing a moment where viewers engage in the pursuit of questioning and challenging their initial grasp of the piece’s conceptual formation.

Jillian Foster
is a political scientist, strategist, and serial entrepreneur whose work focuses on how incentives and identity drive our beliefs and behavior especially under conditions of uncertainty and risk. Her career has centered on understanding behavior in environments where information is incomplete and choices carry real consequence.

Jillian’s work spans research, partnership, and intellectual inquiry, with a particular emphasis on the gray zones where values collide with reality and assumptions no longer hold.

She is known for her ability to interrogate ideas, surface context, and translate nuanced insight into grounded direction.
As the founder of Global Insight, Jillian built a research and advisory firm recognized for its rigor, integrity, and human-centered approach.

In addition to her advisory and research work, Jillian is a writer, speaker, and convenor. Through essays, talks, and curated salons, she creates space for rigorous inquiry and dialogue around difficult questions—particularly those involving identity, ethics, and human behavior.
