Women of Culture and DIFAD (Do It For A Day) are joining forces for a special evening at The Metropolitan Museum of Art as we experience Costume Art, The Costume Institute’s highly anticipated spring 2026 exhibition exploring the relationship between fashion, art, and the human body across centuries of cultural history.

Advance Purchase Required here

Presented in The Costume Institute’s newly expanded galleries adjacent to the Great Hall, the exhibition features extraordinary pairings of garments and artworks from across The Met’s vast collections, revealing how clothing has shaped identity, beauty, symbolism, power, and self-expression throughout time. Spanning prehistory to the present day, the exhibition invites visitors to consider the dressed body not simply as fashion, but as a living artistic and cultural language.

Our evening will begin with a special exhibition talk with Helen Lee, who will offer insight into the exhibition’s themes, artistic references, and cultural significance. Guests will then have time to independently explore the galleries at their own pace before continuing the evening over dinner at Sant Ambroeus.

An iconic New York destination beloved for its Milanese elegance and sophisticated atmosphere, Sant Ambroeus offers the perfect setting to continue the evening’s conversations. Known for its refined Italian cuisine, timeless interiors, and vibrant cultural clientele, it has long been a favorite gathering place for the city’s art and fashion communities.

Whether you are passionate about fashion, visual art, design, history, or simply enjoy intellectually and culturally enriching experiences shared in wonderful company, this promises to be an inspiring and beautifully curated evening.

What Awaits You:

  • Exclusive access to one of The Met’s most anticipated exhibitions of 2026 alongside a community of accomplished, culture-loving women
  • A rare opportunity to deepen your understanding of fashion, art, and identity through expert insights, thoughtful conversation, and immersive cultural exploration
