Women's Boating Class 101

The Event
This hands-on class is designed specifically for beginners who want to feel more comfortable handling a boat. Gain real experience with coaching from our female captain-instructors. No pressure or judgement.

101 is the first class in our 3-class on-water series, but everyone is welcome. You are not required to take any other classes before or after this one.
This class covers:
• Beginner boat handling
• On-water etiquette
• Navigation
• Safety

Perfect for passengers curious about getting behind the helm, new boat owners, or anyone wanting more confidence and independence on the water.
Women on Boats focuses on skills, safety, and community — creating a supportive space where you can learn at your own pace, ask questions freely, and build real confidence alongside other women.

Tues, 9/29 @ 9-11:30am at Sunset Cay Marina on Folly Beach. Price: This class is $149 a la carte, or purchase the "Captain Her Boat" pass to bundle all 3 core classes for a discount (101, 102, & Trailering).

Women on Boats is creating a community of female boaters in the Charleston area through private lessons, group classes, and fun outings. All programs are designed for women, and taught by women.
