Women On The Fly

WOTF supports our local Trout Unlimited clubs and vice versa. This event will be lots of fun, fellowship and support for important programs in our area with opportunities to win gear, trips, decor etc through raffles and auctions.

Additional activities supported by your generous donations and participation include:
Each year RRTU participates in efforts to improve the environment, as well as the quality of life for those experiencing specific challenges. These include:

• Inspiring conservation awareness in 23 schools through "Trout in the Classroom" activities
• River Course - Summer youth camp, tuition support and volunteer hours
• Continued efforts to restoring regional cold water streams
• Annual support to Wounded Warriors of North Carolina (military veterans)
• Sponsoring Casting Carolinas - Supporting Cancer Survivors
• River Course - Summer youth camp, tuition support and volunteer hours
• Many, many other endeavors throughout the year.

All of these activities are funded through the annual "Friends of Rocky River" benefit scheduled for Saturday February 21, 2026

We need your help in order to continue our work in the environment and the community at large. Specifically we ask that you consider one or both of the following :

Donation of an item or service that would be suitable for auction or raffle. For example, in kind donations from TU members in the past have included :

• New or slightly used equipment that is no longer in use ( rods, reels, tying materials, packs, accessories).
• Time at a rental property, professional services, retail goods.
• Artisan crafts of woodwork, painting and sculpture.
