Rocky River Trout Unlimited Chapter meetings are the third Thursday of the month except June and July. These monthly meetings are always informative with lots of sharing about tips and techniques.
Meetings are in person and alternate locations from Covenant Presbyterian in Charlotte, Hop Fly Brewing, and Orvis - Charlotte
Thursday, November 20, 2025 at 6:30 PM at Hopfly Brewing located at 1327 S Mint St in Charloltte.
Ray Sugg of Trout Bum will discuss wild trout fishing in North Carolina. Ray has documented via video and photos fishing over 1,000 streams in North Carolina mostly for wild trout. He will discuss his research methods, approach, tactics and equipment. He may even share some streams near to us to check out. (His database will assist you in your research). In addition, we will have a representative of New River Fly Fishing Guides discuss bass fishing opportunities on the New River. This guiding service has been a long term supporter of Rocky River Trout Unlimited and we are looking forward to his presentation.
