Women in Art

To celebrate Women's History Month, I would like to offer a watercolor workshop:

Women in Art
-A tribute to amazing female artists

This workshop is planned for 5 sessions.
Each week we will look at an amazing female watercolor artist to observe and learn about her life and work. I picked artists who are art historically significant, also to point out the lack of women presence in art history. I also picked currently famous artists, because it's great to have a role model from the present day and it is important to give women more space in art to shape the future and change history by starting today.
These are the spotlight artist:

Georgia O'Keeffe (her paintings are in the event picture)
Wangechi Mutu
Alice Schille
Jasmine Huang
Carol Grigg

Inspired by their work, we will paint with fun and experimental techniques. We will paint people, abstract scenes and much more!

When: Always Fridays at 6:30pm- 8:00pm
Where: close to Monk station, I will tell you the exact location after booking

Material: You will need a watercolor set: watercolor paper, watercolor brushes, and watercolors. If you need recommendations please reach out.

The group is super small, so I can help individually.
