Hello book club members past, present, and future :)

For our first Meetup of 2026, we'll be discussing Atmosphere by Taylor Jenkins Reid!

If you've been in any book club in the past decade (or have paid a visit or two to the bestseller table in your local book store), chances are you've heard of Taylor Jenkins Reid. She's written wildly popular books like Daisy Jones & The Six and The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo that, while at times are polarizing, always elicit interesting conversations about female stories.

Atmosphere is her latest historical fiction book. Set in the 1980s, it follows a female astrophysicist training in the NASA Space Shuttle Program. In her role, she has to confront the demands of her work along with the challenges of a forbidden romance happening behind the scenes.
