Let's continue to make 2025, a year of creating new social connections. Fabulous ladies have been having fun for the past 13 years.
- Have you recently relocated leaving close friends and family behind? Perhaps friendships have drifted? Studies reveal, women of all ages, change friends every five years. As life changes, so do friendships. Creating new social connections and building community, is beneficial and critical to our health and wellbeing.
Founded in 2012, we are a vibrant community of fun women. Members use our Meetup Tools, to organize social events. Each event you create and/or attend, a new connection is made; over time, you have a community; a new Circle of Friends.
How this works? Our group in one which members create events. Number of attendees can be capped, if a smaller group is desired for a dinner or weekend gathering for coffee. Many members choose a location within their neighborhood or surrounding area and branch out from there.
What you bring: Involvement! We all pledge to create fun opportunities to get together. We ask that you bring your best: plenty of humor, generosity, sensitivity and kindness.
Our goal: To foster a supportive, inspiring environment and encourage each other to develop authentic and strong friendships. We consider this our community, YOUR community; a place to take risks and try something new, something big. Something you've always wanted to do. For example: training to complete a fitness event! Are you missing a Girl's night out or just chatting on the phone? We will be cheerleaders, empowering each other to meet goals. While making friends along the way.
Check us out for several months; if you like our group, please join by paying the nominal annual membership fee. Your fees offset the cost of running this group. Thanks!
Welcome to the Circle; we are glad you are here.
WCOF History: Our first chapter was founded in Alexandria, Va, in 2012. Women's Circle of Friends-Naples Chapter began after a friend moved, from Alexandria to Florida. We established a Chapter in Greenville, NC, in 2016. West LA began in 2023. And so it goes: As women relocate, our groups ease transition to a new area; creating new friendships while attending fun events. Women's Circle of Friends has been a game changer for me. I hope it will be for you as well.
