Flow Writing Circle
In the age of devices and constant distractions, a pen and paper offer an ancient practice to get in touch with ourselves. Join Yulia and other curious people for an hour of writing with creativity and flow!
Please note: this is a paid writing circle; the ticket cost is $10. Pay by Venmo at the start of the circle.
Hosted by Yulia Denisyuk, a veteran travel journalist and writer, host of the Going Places platform, and teacher who's traveled to over 100 countries in search of creativity and wisdom. Yulia has taught writing and journalism to hundreds of students and taught masterclasses at National Geographic and many other spaces.
During the session, Yulia will provide a writing prompt meant to explore a side of yourself. We'll choose a topic to write and meditate upon, such as our fears, vulnerabilities, dreams, hopes, or goals.
Please note: this writing circle is open to all. We will have other, women-specific writing circles coming up soon.
You do not need to be a professional or aspiring writer to enjoy our Flow Writing Space. Everyone is welcome. If you're interested in exploring yourself and your creativity through writing, this is the space for you!
Practical info:
- The session will last about 1 hour.
- Bring your own pen and notebook or notepad to write on.
- The session location is Aura Coffee and Roastery, a new coffee shop in Lakeview. Please note: cafe patronage is not required, but gently appreciated.
