Women's Coding Club

Do you identify as a woman and are you learning how to code, or do you want to help other women who are learning? Come to Women's Coding Club!

We will get together to practice our coding skills. This is not a class, but time and space to work (and network!). You can work on coding homework you might have for a course, work on a personal coding project or get started on a new project together with others. Don't know what to work on? We have plenty of ideas and can help you pick a (group or individual) project that suits your current level! And you can always work on your portfolio ;) We will have resources available to get you started.

Use these three hours to work on your coding skills, ask questions, get motivated by working with others who are learning how to code, build up your network of women coders and get inspired!

Following requests from attendees, I’ll bring a project for us to work on together during the meeting, for those interested in contributing to the Women Who Code website. Of course, you’re also welcome to work on your own project if you prefer!

All levels & all coding languages are welcome. Bring your own laptop!

The meetup will take place at the OBA Oosterdo in Amsterdam, next to Central Station station. Let's try the Cafe-Restaurant Babel, on the 7th floor of the OBA Oosterdok. I will try to get a table there. There will be a sign on the table with "Women's Coding Club".

This meeting is hosted in collaboration with LocHal Library in Tilburg and will take place in the DigiLab. Just follow the signs! Feel free to walk in and out at any time between 19:00 and 21:30.

All levels & all coding languages are welcome. Bring your own laptop. We have snacks, coffee and tea! The café in the library closes at 18:00, but there are several options in the area around the LocHal to get some food.

At this meetup we will be speaking English, but the organizer (Lotte) also speaks Dutch for whoever needs it.
