Friday Evening - Women's Coding Club #3

Details

Do you identify as a woman and are you learning how to code, or do you want to help other women who are learning? Come to Women's Coding Club!

We've been running Women's Coding Club once a month on Saturday morning for a year now, but due to popular demand we are starting a new series on Friday evening. Come and join! Whether you've been to Women's Coding Club many times or you're totally new, you're more than welcome!

We will get together to practice our coding skills. This is not a class, but time and space to work (and network!). You can work on coding homework you might have for a course, work on a personal coding project or get started on a new project together with others. Don't know what to work on? We have plenty of ideas and can help you pick a (group or individual) project that suits your current level! And you can always work on your portfolio ;) We will have resources available to get you started.

Use these three hours to work on your coding skills, ask questions, get motivated by working with others who are learning how to code, build up your network of women coders and get inspired!

All levels & all coding languages are welcome. Bring your own laptop and some snacks for if you get hungry. Eating is allowed in the library as long as you don't go too crazy. There's a few places around the library where you can get food, so if you want to step out for a bit during the session to get some dinner, that's no problem!

The meetup will take place at the Central Library (Centrale Bibliotheek) in Rotterdam, next to Blaak station. The address is Hoogstraat 110. Take the escalator to the 1st floor, you will walk straight into a study area with tables. I will try to get a table there. There will be a sign on the table with "Women's Coding Club".
