After 20-months of shuttering due to COVID-19, our creative writing community now returns at the urging of core members.

Our 2021-2022 FOCUS - This year's inspirational source comes from exploring "The Woman's Book of Soul: Meditations for Courage, Confidence, and Spirit" by Sue Patton Thoele, an author, hospice chaplain, and women's advocate.

"Although I'd always been an on-again, off-again journal writer, I never envisioned actually writing a book. However, when I was forty-five, a Writing Muse grabbed me by the scruff of the neck and would not let me go no matter how much I resisted. And resist I did!"

She's now written 12 books including "Autumn of the Spring Chicken: Wit and Wisdom for Women in Midlife."

• You don't have to be a professional writer or published author.
