What we’re about
Kinda like a book club (without reading) and kinda like an a/v club. Join us in watching films followed by lively and thoughtful discussions at local pubs, cafes and other such sundry eateries.
The Eugene Women’s Film Club will host a variety of programs such as:
• Netflix and Chat: Basically, a book club without the reading. We will pick a streamable movie about once a month, you'll watch it on your own, and then join us to discuss it.
• Movie Nights: We'll head out to local movie theaters and then grab some snacks and discuss the flick.
• Mini-Filmmaking Labs: With simplicity and brevity in mind, we will look at making super short, micro video projects that folks can create with their smart phone or digital camera — great for creative expression, skill building, and messaging or marketing.
Be part of the Eugene Women’s Film Club as we create a community for women to enjoy film together, dialogue, collaborate, and explore. We will watch a mix of art, indie, foreign, and some mainstream films.
