Wed 30th ~Clear Creek Trail~Prospect Pk~EAST to Totem Pole~20.5 Miles,10-15 mph

Hello Bikers!
Let's ride on the Clear Creek Trail heading EAST from Prospect Park to the Totem Pole (Just east of Pecos St) . The ride will be a Moderate Intermediate ride with speeds between 10-15miles an hour. Distance will be 20.5 miles. We will meet at Prospect Park ON TUESDAY, JULY 30TH at 7:45 am and roll out by 8:00 am.

Prospect Park is between Robb Street and Quail Street (closer to Robb Street). Turn south off of 44th Street. When you turn into the park you will see some new Pickle Ball Courts, then drive all the way down to the creek and bike trail.

Along the ride there is a very sharp turn at the recreation center just before you go under the Kipling underpass, so please give all bikers ahead of you at that point, plenty of space - going and coming!!

This is absolutely a beautiful and at times magically looking trail. The trail is all paved. It includes two low traffic road crossings. We also will be going through two one block quiet neighborhoods. The trail is relatively flat and follows the creek. Please keep at least 1 1/2 bike space between you and the bike in front for the safety of all.

There are some nice little benches at our turn around point, bring snacks or lunch if you'd like!!
