WEDNESDAY NOVEMBER 19, 11:00am

Let’s enjoy a relatively gentle hike near Conifer/Evergreen.

We’ll hike the Shadow Pine Loop at Flying J Ranch Park, which is a 2.9 mile loop, with an elevation gain of 321 ft. It’s mostly uphill the first half and downhill the second half.

Plan on a leisurely pace to be able to stop along the way when we see something that interests us—or just chat/drink our water.

Bring a sack lunch, and we can eat at one of the picnic table pavilions after our hike.

NOTE WE ARE MEETING AT THE UPPER PARKING LOT, not the lower lot that’s right next to Hwy 73.
