Thank you, Vicky, for the ability to post an event to the group.

It's kind of late notice, but I'm looking to organize a bike ride for tomorrow.

For my ride today, I packed up the surplus of holiday cookies and candy generously given to me by family and friends. I added some beef protein sticks and granola bars and set out to share them with neighbors experiencing homelessness.

Their faces lit up so much that I ended up giving the first two people I met everything I had packed! As I continued my ride, I encountered many more people who were still in need.

I’m packing up another batch and heading out again tomorrow afternoon (12/27/25). If you have extra holiday goodies you’d like to share—and you'd like to join me for a ride—meet at the south parking lot at Anderson Park in Wheat Ridge at 1:00 pm.

We’ll ride along Clear Creek Trail toward Denver and then turnaround to get in about a 15 to 20 mile ride. Our speed will vary depending on stops, but plan for a 10–13 mph pace. Once we’ve distributed everything, we can pick up the speed for the remainder of the ride.

Please post in the comments if you plan to join the ride, so I can get a headcount.
