THURSDAY BIKE RIDE, MAY 7
Cherry Creek Trail from Village Greens Park to Parker Jordan Centennial Open Space

  • Meet at VILLAGE GREENS PARK: 9:00am
  • Start Riding: 1:00 pm
  • Round Trip: 20 miles
  • Speed: ~11-14 mph (slower than 11mph on the uphills)
  • We will ride east, parallel to the Cherry Creek Reservoir dam (good downhill & then uphill), then south on the CC trail (and a bit of riding on the road) into and through the CC State Park. We’ll continue out of the Park, south to Parker Jordan Centennial Open Space, where we’ll turn around to head back north, returning to Village Greens Park via the opposite side of the reservoir.
  • This route includes some hills and some relatively flat sections.
  • Restrooms are available at several places along the route, so we’ll stop at least once to use the facilities.

**NOTE: when you arrive at Village Greens Park, be sure to park in the 2nd parking lot, which is the smaller parking lot at the end, because the first parking lot will probably be full. (There are restrooms here.)
