THIS DOES NOT include airfare.
UPDATE 11/8/18 Related to AIR:
WE ARE EXCITED TO ANNOUNCE THAT WE HAVE SECURED GROUP AIR SPACE ON LUFTHANSA FOR OUR TRIP TO SICILY! LUFTHANSA IS ONE OF ONLY 2-3 AIRLINES THAT OFFERS SERVICE FROM BOSTON TO SICILY. LUFTHANSA WAS NOT ABLE TO OFFER US GROUP SPACE FOR OUR RETURN DATE OF JUNE 4TH. SO IN ORDER TO SECURE, A GROUP AIR BLOCK WITH GOOD FLIGHTS ON A REPUTABLE AIRLINE, WE WILL BE SHIFTING THE DATES OF THE TRIP TO MAY 26, 2018 DEPARTURE FROM USA TO JUNE 5, 2018 RETURN. WE HOPE THAT SINCE THE CHANGE IS JUST DEPARTING AND RETURNING 1 DAY LATER, THAT EVERYONE ALREADY SIGNED UP CAN STILL JOIN US. The cost of the Lufthansa Group flights will be $1359.00 per person. The flights will be booked via a consolidator vs Globus as Globus quoted us $1845.00 for the same flights. Because of this, airport transfers will be an additional cost of $40.00 per person roundtrip if booking the air block ( no brainer when you compare $40.00 vs $486.00 more J). If you book flights on you own, the transfers will be $60.00 per person roundtrip. Also, the airfare will need to be paid by check. All payments made on the group block flights will be NON REFUNDABLE. A $200.00 deposit required to secure a seat on the group air block. Second payment of $250.00 will be due December 10, 2018 Third payment of $250.00 will be due January 10th, 2018 Fourth payment of $250.00 will be due February 10, 2018 Fifth payment of $250.00 will be due March 10, 2018 Balance due April 1st, 2018 All payments made on the airfare will be NON REFUNDABLE. These dates coincide with the land package payment dates. Checks should be made payable to A Girl's Gotta Go LLC and mailed to PO Box 425761, Cambridge MA 02142. Deposits must be received no later than February 16, 2018 to secure a seat on the group block If you are purchasing the Globus Travel Protection, it will cover the airfare under the same policy terms. Preassigned seats are not available for the group block. Special requests will be noted, but not guaranteed. If you have not yet deposited, the 10% early savings expires 11/27 so make sure to send in your forms before then! Due to the limited air service to Sicily securing a group air space was a bit challenging. One main reason is due to the uncertainty of the status of Alitalia, the main airline of Italy. Without going into too many details, last spring Alitalia announced they would run out of funding by this fall. The Italian government had decided not to invest anymore in the airline long-term so the airline is up for sale. For the time being, the Italian Government did extend a loan to Alitalia until they are able to find a buyer. They have several airlines interested BUT we are not sure if they are sold if the new owners will keep the same service to the same cites. We also do not know how long the Government funding will last. Due to the uncertainty of their status we did not want to commit our group to Alitalia. Also, we are looking into a pre-trip to the Amalfi coast. We hope to have more detail next week to share. Thank you all for your patience. It's going to be a great trip! Kind Regards, Stacy Evos President & Co Founder A Girl's Gotta Go 617-314-7266 www.agirlsgottago.com (http://www.agirlsgottago.com/)
We have been allotted 40 spots, again, SINGLE rooms are very limited, first come first serve with deposit on the singles, don't miss out book now!
We will do our best in assisting you with finding a roommate, if you are interested in a double. We offer meet and greets and posting on the Meetup site, if you are looking for a roommate, attending the meet and greets are your best opportunity in finding a roommate.
NOTE: There is a chance that you may not have a roommate if we have an odd number of members, or if some of the ladies book singles. If that occurs and you still want to attend you may have to wait until someone else joins the tour. Just something to think about, especially if you book late, the later you book the harder it will be to find a roommate.
If you book a double room and your roommate cancels you will be responsible for finding another roommate, we will try our best to assist you in finding one but no guarantees, if you cannot find another roommate , you will be responsible for any additional fees.
CANCELLATION POLICY: Due to this being an exclusive group trip, the penalties are follows on the tour:
