Story Title: “Burn the Map & Pack Lipstick: How I Found Freedom in the Fails

”Brigitte has lived a life full of twists and turns—and she wouldn't change a single one. From coming out in 1982 in Fort McMurray to raising kids, launching businesses, surviving heartbreak, and turning it all into comedy gold, her journey is anything but ordinary. In her talk, Brigitte will share a raw and hilarious story about taking risks, falling hard, and getting back up stronger. She’ll remind us that life is about embracing the messy, the scary, and the unpredictable, and doing it all with a sense of humour (and maybe a few F-bombs). “Non, Je Ne Regrette Rien” — Brigitte believes that everything, from the mess to the magic, has shaped her into the fearless, funny woman she is today.
