moinworld is a non-profit organization focused on empowering and promoting women in tech. We aspire to provide women with the tools and abilities to grow their careers in the tech arena by hosting inspiration events, providing practical tools, creating a supportive community and providing mentorship guidance.

Women Techmakers at NIO House
NIO House, Große Bleichen 5, Hamburg, DEWe are thrilled to announce our next Meetup and Community Get together in May at NIO House.
Format:- 2 talks (each ca. 15 min incl. discussion)
- Time for networking after the presentations
- Talks are held in English
- We will be taking photos and/or film footage at the event. These will be used to share news about our meetups and to publicize upcoming events.

Abstract:
A story of a successful transition from hospitality to tech after 35, highlighting how transferable skills and resilience can unlock new career paths.
Bio:
I began my career in restaurants, working my way up from waitress to hotel operations manager, leading large multicultural teams. I pivoted into tech as sales manager after completing my MBA.My background has given me strong skills in leadership, problem-solving, and customer-centric thinking, which I now leverage to drive results in my tech role.
I am passionate about inspiring others, especially women, to pursue bold career changes and opportunities in tech.Second talk:
Vaishnavi Pagadala - Data Chaos to Data Culture: A Real StoryAbstract: A journey towards building a data-driven culture—covering challenges, approach, and key learnings
Bio:
Vaishnavi: I have over 12 years of experience working across BI, data engineering, and analytics. My journey started with building reports and dashboards and gradually evolved into designing scalable data platforms and leading data teams.Having seen the challenges of data from multiple angles, I now focus on simplifying how teams access and use data in their everyday work. I am passionate about moving organizations from reactive, request-driven data usage to a culture where teams can confidently make decisions backed by reliable and accessible data.
Who organizes the whole thing?
This event is organized by moinworld e.V.. A non profit organization that emerged from the Women Techmakers Meetup. It provides a network for minorities in IT and at the same time offers a platform for everyone to make a contribution so that IT can be a tool for everyone.
