We are so glad you found WOMEN TRAVEL ABROAD (WTA)!
We are an exclusive and inclusive group of like-minded women that crave traveling in Ease, Comfort, and Style. We believe in experiential travel and deep immersion in the countries we travel to. We hire local guides that will take us off the beaten path to experience real local food and the local community. We believe in buying from local artisans selling unique one of a kind pieces.
We are Boutique travelers. Boutique travel is for women that desire to see the authentic culture of the cities they visit. A WTA traveler needs only to show up and let the magic unfold. Accommodations are SINGLE occupancy for comfort and every hotel is chosen under the strictest of guidelines. The WTA traveler is not just on vacation but on a cultural tour with a perfect mix of hustle and downtime.
We want to make sure everyone meets our expectations but more importantly we want to ensure we meet your expectations before you book a trip. No one joins a WTA trip without first joining our weekly call or speaking with someone from WTA leadership.

WTA Amalfi Coast 2025Itinerary
Day 1 – September 14 – Following your arrival to Naples International Airport (NAP), you will be welcomed by private transportation that will take you to your Naples accommodation. This evening you will meet your fellow travelers, a diverse and lively group bonded together by the promise of adventure and Neapolitan culinary delight.Day 2 – September 15 – The next morning, you will awake to the Italian sky to experience the taste and sights of Naples before your departure to the coastal town of Maiori.
Day 3 – September 16 – Today, your culinary adventures begin! Venture to the alluring island of Capri by ferry for a unique island experience. The island of Capri lies in Italy’s Bay of Naples and is famous for its rugged landscape, limoncello, handmade leather sandals, and natural wonders like the Blue Grotto. After disembarking your ferry you will being your exploration of the this charming island. Here you can uncover unique traditional dishes as you taste your way through the island.
Day 4 – September 17 – FREE DAY. Today brings a pause, a chance to reflect on the whirlwind of colors and flavors you’ve experienced thus far. The Amalfi Coast offers countless possibilities for relaxation or further exploration.
Day 5 – September 18 – With a renewed spirit, you will explore more of what the cliffside town of Maori has to offer. Just a short drive away you will traverse the breathtaking blend of sea and skyscapes before arriving at your local Ravello cooking class.
Day 6 – September 19 – From lemon delights to limoncello, the Amalfi Coast is synonymous with lemons. Throughout the heart of Amalfi, you can waft the fragrant perfume flowing from the lemon groves where the golden fruits hang like treasures, offering their zesty essence to the world.
Day 7 – September 20 – The final full day of your adventure is reserved for an unforgettable boat tour along the Amalfi Coast. As you glide across the shimmering waters, the coastline unfolds before you like a grand masterpiece, the cliffs and beaches complemented by the azure sea and skies. The day culminates in a magical farewell dinner with your newfound companions.
Day 8 – September 21 – As you bid farewell to the captivating Amalfi Coast, you return to Naples International Airport (NAP) for your return flight departing after 12pm to the US.

No matter how many times we visit, South Africa continues to awe and inspire us. From the generosity and warmth of the people, to the incredible natural beauty and wildlife, we love returning year after year. Our 4th-annual tour will start in Johannesburg. From our base in the city we’ll learn about South Africa’s rich history, including a visit to Soweto, the heart of the anti-apartheid movement. Walk through the streets that shaped a nation, visiting the historic Mandela House and the poignant Apartheid Museum, where the powerful stories of struggle and resilience come to life.
The unforgettable adventure continues with a luxurious 5-night safari at the Private Thanda Safari Lodge. WTA South Africa 2025Itinerary
DAY 1 – October 5 – Arrive at O.R. Tambo International Airport (JNB), and private transportation will bring you to the hotel. Meet your group after checking in and toast to a week of adventures ahead with a welcome dinner.DAY 2 – October 6 – FREE Morning to explore Johannesburg. The tour will continue to discover the Sterkfontein Caves. This evening, your group will dine out in Johannesburg.
DAY 3 – October 7 – Leave the hustle and bustle of the city today and learn about the culture and historical significance of Soweto City. Your group will have the opportunity to tour the Apartheid Museum and experience a traditional lunch in Soweto.
DAY 4 – October 8 – Your group leaves Johannesburg to experience life on the safari. A private chartered plane will take your group to Thanda Safari, where you will stay for the remainder of the tour.
DAY 5 – October 9 – Welcome to Thanda Safari! Make yourself at home as you explore the grounds, breathe in the fresh air, and truly relax in pure nature. Your group will have the opportunity to join private wildlife game drives twice each day (once in the early morning and once in the late afternoon) for the chance to scout out The Big 5.
This property deserves a paragraph of its own. Located on a 14,000-hectare private game reserve, Thanda is home to the Big Five and over 400 bird species, providing guests with extraordinary wildlife encounters. Each of the lodge’s nine Bush Suites is designed with elegance and privacy in mind, featuring private plunge pools, viewing decks, and traditional Zulu-inspired architecture. DAY 7 – October 11 – Embark on a coastal cruise today to search for hippo and crocodile, before stopping for a restful afternoon at the beach. An intimate dinner in the bush awaits you back at your lodge to complete an exciting day.
DAY 8 – October 12 – FREE Day. One final day to enjoy all that Thanda Safari and South Africa has to offer. This evening, your group will celebrate a week of new friends and wonderful experiences with dinner under the stars.
DAY 9 – October 13 – After one final game drive, a private chartered jet will take you back to O.R. Tambo International Airport (JNB) for connecting flights to the US. Please book your departure flights from (JNB) for after 5 pm.
