What we’re about
WOMENTREPRENEURS was established as a professional network dedicated to cultivating leadership and community for female entrepreneurs, especially those working in social enterprises, digital, tech and media related industries in Asia Pacific.
Our core mission is to cultivate leadership and a sense of community within the broad borders these inter related industries, through a range of events, blogs and other activities. In keeping with our mission we want to include our members and your ideas in the growth of WOMENTREPRENEURS as a whole.
WOMENTREPRENEURS was previously Women Media Networks (WMN), which was Asia's leading non-profit network for women in media. We wanted to expand the scope and really focus on building a community for women have chosen to follow their passions and start their own businesses.
While we will be focusing on empowering female and femme-identifying entrepreneurs, men and gender non-conforming people are very much a part of that equation and conversation. As such they are very welcomed and encouraged to participate in this group.
