What What : The professional space extends beyond handshakes, business cards and small talk at conferences; whether you're actively looking for work, starting your own business, contributing to the community, or networking, you now need to know how to navigate the digital professional world.
Join WWCode NYC on Wednesday, April 6th for the next event in our #HIREWWCode Series: Developing Your Digital Presence. We'll hear from women in the industry about how, why, and where to build your online profiles and introduce resources for contributing to and being present in a variety of digital professional and social spaces. Then we'll break into groups for some co-working and collaborative profile building. Bring your laptop, and a friend!

Tami Reiss, Why The Words in Your Email Are Holding You Back. (Or Keys to Effective Email Communication)
Tami leads the Cyrus team to deliver great results for our clients. She focuses on ensuring that Cyrus is a great development partner, guiding clients through tough times and helping them grow.
She is an experienced product person who has worked with dozens of companies of all sizes to bring their products and services to market. She is a public advocate for Agile development, Lean strategies, and cross team collaboration to accomplish business goals.
Tami introduced the Female Founder initiative to Cyrus. She provides pro-bono product strategy guidance to help women led and community profit organizations. As part of that, she launched Just Not Sorry, a gmail plugin which encourages effective email communication.
Ayuna Volgel, Technical Blogging
Ayuna Vogel is an iOS developer and an Access Code 2.2 alum. She presented her latest project, Neverlate, an iOS app that helps motivate users to be on time, at the NY Tech Meetup in February 2016: https://vimeo.com/155126592#t=1h21m51s
In her free time, Ayuna volunteers with Coder Dojo and Women Who Code and blogs about her coding journey at http://medium.com/@AyunasCode . She'll share tips on technical blogging and overcoming writer's block.
Jiaqi Liu, How to Talk About Your Technical Project
Jiaqi is a Data Scientist at Capital One Labs. As part of the consumer product team, Jiaqi has worked on a variety of projects ranging from building out big data platforms to support credit card transaction data to rapid prototyping for consumer facing financial service. She frequently mentors at Hackathons and is also an organizer for Women in Data (http://www.womenindata.com/), a community for Women in Data Driven Careers.
