When your mind feels crowded, learn a simple way to understand what’s really happening and choose what to do next.

Give yourself one afternoon to slow down, look inward, and learn practical tools for working with your thoughts, emotions, and recurring patterns in everyday life.
This half-day retreat offers practical tools for working with your thoughts, emotions, and habits through guided journaling, meditation, and reflection. Drawing from the principles of Won-Buddhist journaling practice, we will explore a simple and honest way to check in with the mind and apply what we notice to everyday life.
You will learn how to:

  • separate what actually happened from the thoughts and assumptions surrounding it
  • recognize recurring emotional and behavioral patterns
  • understand your reactions without judging yourself
  • move from reflection toward one clear and realistic next step
  • build a journaling practice that supports greater clarity and steadiness

The afternoon will include meditation, gentle yoga, guided journaling, quiet reflection, optional sharing, and tea.
This is not a writing class, and you do not need to be “good at journaling.” Come as you are and participate at your own pace.
Journal provided. No meditation or journaling experience needed.
Please RSVP through Meetup so we can prepare a journal for you.
