The Navajo Bridge, located in northern Arizona, is an incredible pair of twin steel arch bridges that span the Colorado River at Marble Canyon. These bridges are they historical landmarks that reflect the engineering ingenuity of their times. The older bridge, referred to as the Historic Navajo Bridge as a pedestrian bridge, allowing visitors to walk across and experience the panoramic views of the canyon and river below.
Marble Canyon, Arizona, is a scenic Colorado River destination near Page, Lees Ferry, Navajo Bridge, and the beginning of the Grand Canyon. Known for dramatic canyon walls, cold, clear river water and sweeping Northern Arizona scenery, Marble Canyon is a popular stop for travelers exploring the Grand Canyon.
The North Rim crowns the Grand Canyon at an average elevation of 8,000 ft—1,000 ft higher than the South Rim—producing lush spruce‑fir forests, cooler temperatures, and a brief summer operating window. Scenic drives to Point Imperial and Cape Royal reveal some of the canyon’s widest panoramas, while the North Kaibab Trail plunges to the Colorado River for hardy hikers.

Built in 1923, Jacob Lake Inn is nestled in the towering pines of the Kaibab National Forest. Jacob Lake has complete facilities for the traveler, including beautiful rooms, rustic and historic cabins, a gift shop, dining room, lunch counter, country store, and service station. We are the gateway to the North Rim of the Grand Canyon, which is a short 45-minute drive away.
Forest Service Restrictions:
None of our rooms have items such as refrigerators, coffee pots, microwaves, hair dryers, etc., because of a contract we have signed with the local Forest Service. Please take this into account as you plan your trip!
Travel time with stops for lunch, gas, comfort and sight seeing we will arrive approximately around 4 p.m.
There will be a cooler available is you need to keep drinks or food items chilled.
