Picnic in September (Weather Permitting)

The temperature has gone down a little; we have left behind the 100+ heat index weather of July and early August. It's a great time to be outdoors.

Let's get together for a picnic. Bring your favorite picnic food and drinks, a chair or blanket or both, outdoor cushions or throw pillows. Ideas for games if you would like are welcome. The idea is to get together, chit chat, and spend Sunday afternoon with other wonderful women without kids.

Updated Location: Founders Park in Old Town, Alexandria. Look for a group of women. There is street parking available in the area. For those taking public transportation, the bus is probably a better option than the metro.

IMPORTANT: For everyone's safety and comfort, if it rains or thunderstorms are in the forecast the day before or the day off, the event will be cancelled.
