Radical Vertical Slicing for Developers

One of the core practices of Technical Agility is the ability to do very thin vertical slices - or to answer the question: “What could be the smallest thing I could get to production today?” In this workshop, we take again all domain complexity away from the practice, and only focus on making the thinnest slices possible.
Learn to make a walking skeleton first, then add just a little bit more functionality. One step at a time. And after each step, the code is production ready.
The learnings from this, can be applied in real production code - especially when combined with the use of Feature Flags.
Time:
Doors will open at 16:45. Some drinks and snacks will be available.
Exercises will start at 17:15 and we will wrap up things by 19:15
What you need to bring:
You need to bring your own computer, every group should have a developer with a working setup.
How to arrive
Meetup will be held at Ässäkeskus, Fleminginkatu 34. Entrance is the main entrance marked on the map. Enter from the glass doors and in the lobby let reception know that you are participating to the “Radical Vertical Slicing for Developers” meetup. One of the hosts will also be welcoming you in the reception.
