Presentation Summary:

The blockchain has been a hot topic in all social media recently. People have been talking about it for years. The crypto is also a very controversial topic. In this presentation, we will touch a few areas of Blockchain, explain its general concepts, its working models and use cases, dive into its technologies, mainly focus on its enterprise level use cases, consensus and working models.

Ren Bio:

Ren has been in IT industry over 20 years. He is an experienced blockchain practitioner and lead. Besides of Blockchain, his expertise is also in cloud infrastructure, IoT, and AI/machine learning. Currently he is leading blockchain R&D projects for an large IT company. He got his degrees of MBA from JHU and MS of Computer Science from TTU & Shanghai Jiaotong University. In his leisure time, he has been playing with the Raspberry Pi for years.
