Worcester Nature Nerds

We are a group of Worcester and Central MA nature nerds, and we meet in local parks and natural areas to study and share our love and knowledge of the natural world: birds, plants, insects, ecology, and more! The group is open to any ages, including children, but the meetups are not specifically for kids. No dogs allowed. The focus of the group is not hiking or excercise - we might spend an hour checking out trees or birds in a patch of forest or lakeside. Open to suggestions for new places to visit or natural history topics. We usually meet on weekends. Attendees under 18 years of age must be accompanied by an adult parent or guardian. Wear weather-appropriate outdoor clothes and bring your curiousity!
