Quinebaug River, Part 3, Southbridge, MA

6.7 miles one way. We will shuttle cars. Experienced paddlers due to quickwater, Class I. Bring wheels if you have them.
In at 35 Optical Drive, Southbridge, MA. While driving turn at Panda Garden and big Southbridge sign. Drive behind hotel and Family Resource Center to the big parking lot. Put in here. Paddle into Lensdale Pond. Out on river left, wheel boats to portage around buildings. Cross bridge and get in at right bank. There is another dam. Portage. Go under Dudley River Road. Continue the 1.9 miles to Quinebaug Park and River Trail. Continue to Quinebaug Park for lunch. Portage hydro dam waterfall. Out at 622 Fabyan Road, Thompson, CT before dam.
