Beginner classes are taught from the aspect where you have already seen a 6-count basic step for West Coast Swing. If you have attended a recent Newcomer Night, then you would have seen this and are welcome to join us! Over the course of beginner classes, you will be introduced to beginner material including a sugar push/push break, left side pass, right side pass, inside/outside turns, whips, and tuck actions with the accompanying body position, connection, lead/follow and footwork that go with the style for comfortable, effective dancing. This becomes the foundation for your West Coast Swing so you want to make sure it gets the proper attention!

Intermediate class is taught at a pace and from the aspect where you have already seen and are comfortable with the basic patterns from beginner class while using the proper technique. With a proper, solid foundation, you can start to build more expressive dances through patterns and connection.
