Sen. Harriette Chandler on The Roe Act

Please join Greater Worcester Humanists for our November meeting. State Sen. Harriette Chandler will speak on The Roe Act. This is legislature that will ensure abortion rights in the wake of any potential Supreme Court decisions. You are welcome to arrive and mingle around 6:30 PM. We will begin the formal meeting at 7 PM.

With recent changes in the makeup of the Supreme Court, women’s reproductive rights are at risk across the country. The ROE Act would protect reproductive rights in Massachusetts, ensuring that any woman, regardless of age, income, or insurance, can continue to have access to safe, legal abortion by blocking the imposition of unnecessary barriers that could delay or deny access to critical care. The ROE Act will ensure that health care decisions stay between a woman and her doctor, even if Roe v. Wade is overturned.
