Please join Greater Worcester Humanists for our January 14 meeting. David Niose will speak on "The Decline of Reason and the Rise of Dysfunction". You are welcome to arrive and mingle around 6:30 PM. We will begin the formal meeting at 7 PM.

David Niose will join us to discuss the current state of American politics and public dialogue. What has caused the divisiveness that predominates the landscape today? Is there any hope of finding unity and achieving human-centered public policy? What can humanists do to pursue those ends?

David Niose served two terms as president of the American Humanist Association, and has been active in secular-progressive causes for many years. He is the author of two books: Nonbeliever Nation and Fighting Back the Right. He has also served as president of the Secular Coalition for America, and he has litigated constitutional cases on behalf of secular groups and individuals all over the country.
