The April 2019 Meetup is focusing on WordPress Security.

As usual, the WordPress 101 session will be first, which aims to briefly introduce WordPress to people just starting their journey.

For the main presentation Jack McNicol will be taking us through his recent experiences dealing with a hacked WordPress site. His talk will cover how he discovered the hack, the steps he took to fix it, and some changes he's made to his site to prevent it from happening again.

The Secondary presentation by Alex Bishop will be running through a quick comparison of WordPress Security plugins, and giving some tips on how to choose a good one for your site.
