Next couple of Atl WP users meetups...

Hi all, very excited about the next couple of meetups, I know we are doing a lot here in Atlanta and hope that you are as excited about the potential that using WordPress brings to all of us as both designers and developers as well as end users and marketers.

Tonight's show and Tell should be good fun, and am particularly looking forward to all getting a chance to finally take a look at each others sites and show off a bit. If you have not RSVP'd please do so here.

There is also a meeting for Developers and Designers scheduled for this weekend. It is Sunday at 2pm at the same location and we'll be discussing one of the newest features of WordPress called Custom Post Types, which I am sure by now you have heard about.

Particularly we are going to discuss how to use them to develop your own Themes and Plug-ins and how to change the WordPress administrative UX and UI to better suite a particular purpose of a site. If your down for that sort of discussion, please RSVP so I can figure out who to expect (e.g. get enough coffee and/or beer for).

Also just wanted to mention that the second week in November is Social Media Week Atlanta. I am running a Blogging and Social Media meetup at at Hudson Grille the 10th of Nov. We are trying to get a list of Blogs from Atlanta area ASAP, so if you are blogging please use this link to submit your blog to the site. It will be published in several places online and off.

Hope to see you all tonight at 7!
