Wednesday 09.10 @ SpringHub: Extending WordPress the CodeWeek way

Let's rock the code!

It is the first week of CodeWeek.eu ... so we should learn to code, the right way!

We'll start with a presentation:

Extending WordPress the right way - Arūnas Liuiza (https://arunas.co/) mixes together his earlier WordCamp talks about child themes and hooks to tell us everything you need to know about extending.

After that: something we could call "git tennis with functions.php" (like there is "layer tennis" for PhotoShop).

Peeter will start on-stage with empty functions.php and start by adding (and explaining) his favourite WP code snippet. Then you can take over, and add your hack... until we run out of hacks or time.
