*** Chris Wiegman's new job takes him out of town for the original date of this meetup (Nov 15) and we had to move his talk to February of next year. Chris sincerely apologizes. ****

The WP REST API is a powerful tool, even right out of the box. But it can be made to do so much more. This talk will discuss using the REST API in your apps and extending the API by adding your own endpoints. Whether for simple site maintenance or helping to manage clients learn to utilize the REST API to i’s maximum extent the right way with tips on adding endpoints, handling input and output and making sure that users can figure out just what your endpoint is doing. This is an advanced talk appropriate for intermediate to advanced developers.
