WordPress User Group London - April 2015

Hello WordPress Users :-)

Hope you all well.

We are finally back after the Easter break.

This time around we'll deal with Integrating Email & Social Media Marketing into WordPress Sites by Peter James.Integrating Facebook, Twitter and Linked-in onto a WordPress website so that Tweets and FB Posts show in widgets (along with 'Like' buttons). Also, how to include signups to Email Marketing Newsletters into Contact Form 7.

Peter is a digital marketing consultant who helps companies grow their business. He provides solutions and services including website development, social media marketing, content marketing (SEO), email marketing and online advertising. He has been providing these services since 2010 and, before that, was previously involved in Web Services and Mobile Telecommunications developments.

Please don't forget to bring your own laptop along, WiFi available.

In the second half I'll karaoke one of the presentations I enjoyed the most of the past London WordCamp by Sara Cannon about user experience.

Of course there will also be plenty of time for you to ask questions and network with all other WordPress users.

8:15pm – Presentation karaoke: WordPress & User Experience
9:00pm – Wrap up and conclusion

The event will be held at the Hub Westminster, 1st floor New Zealand House, 80 Haymarket, Westminster, London, SW1Y 4TE, which is conveniently located between Piccadilly Circus and Trafalgar Square.

One of us will welcome you on the ground floor where you'll be asked to sign in and collect your pass. Please wear your pass at all times since we are part of a government building. Then make your way to the 1st floor via the lift (not the stairs, those lead to Narnia) and then follow the signs to the Strategy lab.
