October Joint Meetup with Hacks/Hackers: The Tech Side of NPR's Argo

Details
For our October 19 meetup, we're doing a joint session with Hacks/Hackers DC (https://meetupdc.hackshackers.com/), a new D.C. group of journalists and developers.
Wes Lindamood and Marc Lavallee from NPR will discuss the technical side of the Argo Network (https://www.npr.org/templates/story/story.php?storyId=128777262), which is powered by WordPress (see the aside from the WordPress Publisher Blog (https://publisherblog.automattic.com/2010/09/09/npr-argo-network-wordpress/)). Argo, which launched last month, is a network of 12 topic-focused local news sites. How did they plan, design, build and deploy the 12 Argo sites? What tools are they using? What lessons did they learn?
For this special meetup, please also RSVP for the event on the the H/H page (https://meetupdc.hackshackers.com/calendar/14973590/).
