For August's meetup, like we did last December (http://www.meetup.com/wordpressdc/events/219055683/), we're doing lightning talks.
For those not familiar, a "lightning" talk (as the name might imply) is a talk delivered in about 5 minutes. If you have a relevant topic you'd like to share with the group, this is a great opportunity to do so.
It's important to note that it does not *have* to be a development-related talk. Topics related to business, marketing, entrepreneurship, design, content strategy, publishing, or really anything that a WordPress meetup go-er would find interesting...are all more than welcome.
We're aiming to have about 8-10 talks, which will give speakers time for about a 5 minute presentation with room for a brief round of questions each, along with our usual networking and social time.
If you're interested, please submit a message to the organizers with a brief bio and talk description.
