Are you tired of using echo and print_r statements to debug your WordPress code? For our June meetup, one of our own members Kevin Baringer has agreed to research and talk about PHP debugging within WordPress. Some of us have used XDebug or other PHP Debugging tools outside of WordPress, but many of us resort to the most rudimentary debug actions within WordPress. This promises to be an enlightening meetup which will hopefully help as all debug smarter. And as always, we'll have time for networking, shout-outs, and questions.

WordPress users and developers of all levels are welcome at all of our meetups. Developers meetups are held on the 1st Wed of each month. At our Developers meetups, the topics tend to be focused on the the back-end coding and development of sites from scratch or sometimes to business practices related to making a living from WordPress, etc. You will find a casual and friendly bunch of folks at our meetups and time is available for networking and shout-outs.

If you are interested in giving a 10-15 minute lightning talk about something (longer talks are fine too!), please let me know (amanda@amandagiles.com). These talks can be about anything WordPress/web related (social media, SEO, useful plugins/themes, business practices, code practices or tools, etc.).
