In this Meetup, we'll discuss how you can use a Calendar plugin on your website to showcase events, integrate with external calendars, or sell tickets. We'll use one of the most popular options, The Events Calendar, to demonstrate what features these plugins provide.
In our live demo, we're going to cover:
- How to install and configure the plugin.
- How to create Events, Venues, and Organizers.
- How to display Events on your website.
- Advanced integrations with Google Maps and Google Calendars.
We'll also discuss alternative plugins and solutions, including free and paid options.
In the second half of our Meetup, we'll have our usual open forum where you can bring up any questions about your own site or WordPress in general.
