Database cleanup, pruning cruft, and optimizing WooCommerce sites with Sean Conklin

How tidy is your WordPress database? While basic WordPress site contents can always be exported and imported into a newly installed environment, larger, more active, and in particular eCommerce sites take surgical precision to optimize the database. Learn how to use PhpMyAdmin to examine and prune your data including legacy plugin and theme cruft that can chew-up precious server resources.

SPEAKER BIO:

Sean has been a full-stack PHP web developer since 2002. His current specialties have been in WordPress powered sites since 2011 and WooCommerce powered shops since early 2017. Sean co-organizes and speaks at the West Valley WordPress Meetup as well as the WooCommerce Los Angeles Meetup. At his day job Sean is Founder at Coded Commerce, LLC, where he helps his clients with WordPress and WooCommerce, powered online stores.
