In this very special hybrid Meetup (in-person and virtual), we welcome Natalie MacLees, longtime WordPress product builder and founder of AAArdvark, to talk about accessibility in practical, human terms, and to share her journey from running a WordPress-focused business to building a SaaS accessibility testing platform.
Natalie will cover:
- What accessibility actually means in day-to-day work and for WordPress;
- Common misconceptions that make accessibility feel harder than it needs to be;
- How her experience building WordPress sites and plugins led directly to the creation of AAArdvark; and
- What changed and what didn't when she moved from WordPress products to SaaS
