Event Overview
The community in the Santa Clarita Valley and communities north of Los Angeles started with a desire to gather, share, and learn WordPress. After a brief break due to the pandemic, let's host our fourth WordCamp and WordPress events.
During this sequence of Meetups, stop in and help shape our event by:
- Finding an accessible location and choosing the best date(s);
- Deciding on a theme in relation to previous WordCamps in Santa Clarita,
- Come up with an Event brand design and a Wapuu that reflects your local community;
- Optimizing your small (or large) team's planning efforts;
- How to become an organizer, speaker, or volunteer;
- Submitting an application and working with your WordPress Foundation mentor
- Developing a budget for approval;
- What is a typical event planning cycle?
- What are 'Calls' and other deadlines of note?
- Tips to create the best speaking roster; and
- So much more
