Putting the You in User Research

Building GOOD software is not the same thing as building USABLE or WANTED software. So, what can a beginner software engineer do to better understand their users?

This talk will go over some basic user research methods, explain why they're useful to someone who isn't a specialist in UX, and give software engineers some tips, tricks, and thoughts for how to build wanted and usable software.

While this is not specifically a WordPress talk, the type of work that goes into making everything you use, more pleasant and efficient.
