Details
Hi Everyone,
Who wants to go hiking and after go to Dancing Dragonfly winery for a late lunch and some delicious wine?
When: Saturday, Sept 6th.
Time: 10 am to approximately 5 pm.
Who: 10 people
Where: Ice Age Trail- Pine Lake Segment, 2.9 mile hike in Wisconsin. Then drive to Dancing Dragonfly winery for lunch, wine, and great conversation.
Details:
Meet at 10 am at the Park and Ride on Hwy 61 and Lower Afton Rd in St. Paul. Take 2-3 cars and total of 10 people to hike on the Ice Age Trail in Wisconsin, Pine Lake segment.
It takes about 75 minutes to get to the trail segment. On the way we will talk about our travel adventures. We will park 1 car at the beginning and 1 car at the end of the segment and do a little shuttle.
Then hike for approximately 2 hours. Then do another little shuttle and drive to the winery - very close to the hiking area. Have lunch and some wine. Maybe stop for ice cream on the way home and arrive around 5pm at the Park and Ride to go home.
Sound fun??
It will be cooler to hike in September and the bugs should be minimal as well. Looking forward to hanging out with you!!
